• Internal Complaints Committee (ICC): A mandatory, primarily female body that investigates complaints, often called CASH.
• Filing a Complaint: Victims can submit written complaints, often via email or in person, generally within 15 days of the incident.
• Inquiry Process: The ICC holds hearings, calls witnesses, and must complete the investigation, often within 30 days.
• Interim Relief: The ICC can recommend separating the parties, transferring departments, or restricting the respondent's access to the complainant.

Actions Against Harasser:

• Students: Suspension, restricted entry, expulsion, and withholding privileges (library, hostels).
• Employees/Faculty: Written apologies, warnings, reprimands, withholding promotions, or termination of service.
• Conciliation: Before initiating an inquiry, the ICC may try to settle the matter through conciliation if requested by the victim, but monetary settlement cannot be a basis.
